Celebrating Community: CAFÉ Ribbon Cutting & Open House
CAFÉ recently marked an exciting milestone with our Ribbon Cutting and Open House, and we are filled with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support from our community.

The event brought together community members, partners, and leaders from across the region in a powerful show of collaboration and shared purpose. We were especially honored to welcome elected officials and community leaders, including Mayor Poirier, Mayor Crawford, Commissioner Overbay, Representative Steele, Representative Schrier, Commissioner Upthegrove, City Councilwoman Linda Herald, and Councilman Shon Smith, along with other local leaders, whose presence reflects the strength of our collective commitment to expanding opportunities for the families we serve.
A Milestone Rooted in Partnership
This celebration was more than just the opening of a new space—it was a reflection of years of partnership, trust, and dedication to building a stronger, more connected community. Seeing so many individuals come together in support of CAFÉ was both energizing and affirming. We give great thanks to the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce for partnering in this milestone and thank them for their support.
A Moment for Our Team
One of the most meaningful aspects of the day was the opportunity for our team to witness the impact of their work. Every day, they pour their time, energy, and heart into serving our community—and this moment allowed that impact to be seen, felt, and celebrated. It was a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
Looking Ahead
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this event so special. CAFÉ’s work is only possible because of the community that stands behind it.
As we look ahead, we are inspired and motivated to continue building on this momentum—expanding services, deepening partnerships, and creating lasting impact for generations to come.
Con gratitud,
Tonantzintla “Tona” Chacón
